Tokyo Fūsa: Kimi ga Tonari ni Ita Kinō

Tokyo Fūsa: Kimi ga Tonari ni Ita Kinō is a Japanese adult romance visual novel about two lovers who are separated during a national emergency.

The player controls Hidenori Ohki, a young man who dated his childhood friend, Haruka Kaneda, until they were separated during a state of emergency which sealed off Tokyo from the rest of Japan. Hidenori spends the next two years not knowing whether Haruka is alright, being unable to visit or communicate with her. That may change when Hidenori learns of a plan by a resistance movement to break through the barricade and enter Tokyo — but even if they are successful, will there still be a relationship for him to rekindle?

Hidenori has three other romantic interests: Miku Kaneda, Haruka's little sister who became stuck living with Hidenori when the state of emergency was declared; Akane Shimamori, a mutual friend of Hidenori and Haruka who often comes by to visit; and Naomi, an acquaintance of Hidenori's boss who seems to know more about the situation in Tokyo than she lets on. While the player is free to pursue any of these heroines, what Hidenori wants more than anything else is to see Haruka again and get closure.
