Trove

Trove is a multiplayer online sandbox role-playing game with voxel-based building and exploration. The game is set in the multiverse of Trove, a collection of randomly generated realms threatened by shadow forces. Players assume the role of customizable adventurers who travel between these realms, fighting monsters, gathering resources, and constructing their own cornerstones, which serve as portable bases. The objective is open-ended: expand in power, collect loot, and contribute to shared worlds while pursuing personal goals.

Combat is action-oriented and tied to class selection. Each class, such as Knight, Gunslinger, or Dracolyte, has unique abilities and combat styles. Players fight creatures across biomes, battle dungeon bosses, and gain experience points to level up. Equipment drops provide stat increases and can be further improved through crafting and upgrading. Combat encounters scale with the level of the realm, encouraging players to progress into more dangerous areas as their power increases.

Building is a central system, with two primary outlets: personal cornerstones and large-scale club worlds. Cornerstones allow players to place a personal base in designated plots, giving them access to crafting stations, storage, and decorations. Club worlds are shared spaces created by player guilds, where structures, landscapes, and mini-games can be designed collaboratively.

Characters gain power ranks by collecting higher-level gear and leveling up classes. Simultaneously, players advance through mastery, a system that rewards cosmetic items, mounts, and boosts for completing various activities. This dual progression system provides incentives for both combat-focused adventurers and builders who prefer exploration and crafting.

Crafting allows the creation of new weapons, mounts, allies, and decorative objects using materials harvested in the world. Collectibles such as dragons, ships, and costumes expand traversal options and personalization. Fishing, gardening, and other side activities add variety beyond combat and building.
