Viridian Room

Viridian Room is a room escape game with graphics consisting of 3D modelled flat polygons. It is a short point-and-click adventure game, where the player has to find clues and items to escape the room, and it's the sequel to Crimson Room.

The game starts in a completely dark room with a cord to switch on the light. The player can look around the room, click in the scene to inspect furniture, open cupboards, look behind things and find items. Every time you find something of interest, a short ghostly sound is played. There is a inventory on the right, and the player can select items to use or combine with other items.

The back story is told through a diary found in the game. It's about a guy who was dating a girl, they went on bicycles and promised to meet again. But then she stood him up, doesn't return his calls and later he sees her with another guy. Then he writes about thinking of suicide, followed by empty pages. Gather all the clues and help find redemption for this poor soul.
