Description
Wagons West is a interactive adventure game for children for the Apple II.
Independence, Missouri, 1854. All spring, you have watched thousands of settlers pass through Independence, preparing themselves for the long and dangerous journey to the West. You receive a letter from your mother, father, and sister in California, telling you that they have established a new home out west, and they want you to pack up their belongings and move to California to live with them.
The player receives $275 from their mother and uncle, and must prepare for a journey out west. The player must carefully choose which items to take with them, and how to prepare for the trip. Along he way, the player faces several decisions, where if they make the wrong choice their trip is either delayed, or they must restart from the beginning. The player must reach Sutter's Fort by October 1st to successfully complete their trip across the USA..
