Whack-A-Kass

Whack-A-Kass is an arcade game from the Neopets virtual pet website; it is a "distance record" game where the player must click the mouse at the right time, in order to strike with his club at a falling plushie that depicts the villain Kass. Depending on the timing of the click, and how much the wind is in the player's favor, the plushie will fly forward a varying distance; the goal is to achieve as long a distance as possible.

It is possible to control the doll in mid-air to a limited degree. Holding or releasing the mouse button will cause the doll to fold or unfold its wings, making it more aerodynamic or making it fall down slower, as needed. Furthermore, clicking at the moment the doll touches the ground will make it bounce more.

There are three difficulty levels: depending on whether your club is a loaf of bread, a stick, or a bat, hitting the plushie precisely is more difficult, but the possible launching distance increases. Higher difficulty levels are unlocked after attaining specific minimum distances on lower levels.
