Alien Planet & Car Wars

Planet of the Aliens & Car Wars are two arcade games sold together for the BBC Micro.

• Planet of the Aliens: As pilot of a Mark 3 space cruiser, the player has come across an alien planet swarming with nasties. The player controls a ship that moves horizontally across the screen, moving down 1 row each trip. The player drops bombs, which destroy several aliens directly below the target. The goal is to clear all the aliens before running into some of the standing creatures. There are 3 levels of difficulty.

• Car Wars: Two cars race around a circular multilane track in opposite directions. The player and computer can move between lanes at 4 points on the track. The goal is to pick up all of the dots on the track without colliding with an enemy. Dots that the computer has run over are worth fewer points.
