Architect Life: A House Design Simulator

Description

Architect Life: A House Design Simulator is a single-player construction and simulation game. The player begins as an independent architect tasked with designing houses for clients. Projects range from compact starter homes to larger, more complex properties. Each commission involves following a client brief, balancing design freedom with functional requirements and budgetary limits. The long-term goal is to complete contracts successfully and progress toward handling increasingly ambitious projects.

Gameplay is based on grid-driven building tools that allow placement of walls, floors, and structural features. Players select layouts, customize room sizes, and add windows, doors, staircases, and roof structures. A catalog of materials and finishes supports interior and exterior customization, including paint colors, flooring, and furniture placement. Landscaping elements such as trees, pools, fences, and decorative objects can also be used to shape outdoor areas.

Completed jobs reward money and unlock access to new styles, advanced materials, and more complex commissions. Some contracts impose unique constraints, such as limited budgets, required features, or specific themes. Beyond contracts, a sandbox mode offers unrestricted building, allowing experimentation without resource limits. Projects are graded on design efficiency, aesthetic presentation, and functionality, with the option to revisit or adjust prior builds. A photo capture feature enables presentation of finished houses.
