Call of Duty: Ghosts

Description
Call of Duty: Ghosts is a single-player and multiplayer first-person shooter game.
The campaign is set in an alternate near-future timeline in which a powerful alliance of South American nations known as the Federation has risen to global dominance following the collapse of the world’s economy. The United States, once a superpower, has been devastated by orbital strikes that leveled major cities and crippled its infrastructure. Ten years later, remnants of the U.S. military continue to resist the Federation’s expansion. Players primarily experience the conflict through the perspective of Logan Walker, a soldier fighting alongside his brother Hesh and their father Elias, a commander of the elite “Ghosts” unit. The Ghosts specialize in stealth, sabotage, and infiltration, and their mission focuses on tracking down Rorke, a former Ghost who has been captured and turned into a weapon against his former comrades.
Gameplay follows the traditional Call of Duty formula of tightly scripted missions, combining on-foot combat, vehicle sequences, and large-scale engagements. The campaign alternates between different playable characters, offering varied perspectives and mission types. Players engage in fast-paced shooting, breach-and-clear operations, underwater stealth sections, and high-altitude combat. Weapons range from modern ballistic firearms to experimental devices, with customizable attachments and equipment. The game includes a companion canine, Riley, who participates in certain missions and can be directly controlled for stealth attacks and reconnaissance.
Multiplayer is a major component, expanding the series’ competitive framework with new systems and modes. Custom loadouts return, allowing players to choose from a wide selection of weapons, perks, and killstreaks using a point-based allocation system. Dynamic maps introduce environmental changes such as collapsible structures and triggered events that alter the layout mid-match. Standard modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Search and Destroy are joined by new ones, including Blitz, where players score by reaching teleport portals in the enemy base, and Cranked, which rewards speed and aggression by giving temporary power-ups after each kill.
Progression in multiplayer revolves around earning squad points to unlock weapons and abilities. The game introduces Squads Mode, where players create teams of custom soldiers that can fight AI or human opponents in various configurations. Co-operative play is featured in Extinction Mode, a separate survival experience replacing the series’ Zombies mode, where up to four players battle waves of alien creatures while completing objectives and defending drill points.
