Doctor Who in: The Deadly Alliance! - Episode 1: Escape from Ru is an arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player controls a spaceship that moves in all directions left and right, and can fire horizontally directly forwards. The player tries to destroy enemy spaceships that move horizontally across the screen, while trying to avoid a laser array that moves laterally across the screen shooting a vertical laser field. The player must carefully time their movement through the flashing laser field to avoid destruction. A single hit, and it's game over.
