Eagle's Wing
Description
Eagle's Wing is a 1-player side-scrolling arcade game for the BBC Micro.
The player controls an airplane flying through a tight canyon with rivers and trees at the bottom. The plane can move up, down, accelerate and decelerate, but burns fuel at a set rate. The plane has a limited number of destructive missiles, but is also armed with surface and air fire to destroy incoming enemy installations. The plane can take limited damage from enemy fire before being destroyed, and will explode if it hits the canyon walls or runs out of fuel.
The goal is to reach and destroy enemy missile silos and command centers; the player can refuel, rearm, and repair if the reach their sister plane.
