Birds of Prey

Birds of Prey is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro and Electron.

The player controls a ship at the bottom of the screen that moves laterally and fires vertically. Facing the player is a large swarm of alien birds. These birds move left and right as a group, and return fire towards the player. Swoopers peel off from the group and come in to attack, and then circle at the bottom of the screen. Death bombs move slowly in a straight line towards the bottom of the screen, and must be destroyed or the player loses a life. The player moves to the next level after defeating all birds on the screen. There are 10 levels of difficulty, and the player starts with three lives.
