Endless Space (Emperor Edition)

This Emperor Edition was originally a special digital download edition. At launch it contained:

• Endless Space (Admiral Edition)
• A new Endless hero called Skuoi Kyryi
• An additional 500 G2G to vote on future game art and design
• Dev Team award on the Amplitude account profile
• United Empire 'Emperor's Guard Extra Skin' Pack. It introduced the Sheredyn as a new faction (as a clone of the United Empire).

Owners of the Admiral Edition could still upgrade to the Emperor Edition for a small price through a DLC purchase. With the release of the Endless Space: Disharmony DLC in June 2013 the Admiral Edition was phased out and replaced by the Emperor Edition, which became the default digital download edition. The additional content from this edition was then provided to owners of the other edition for free to avoid fragmentation. After the release of Disharmony the free content updates for the game required the DLC to be installed, following four content updates that were previously provided for free prior to the Disharmony release.
