Escape from Orion

Escape from Orion is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

The player's spaceship has to make an emergency landing to pick up tools, water, fuel rods, and oxygen. The player can move left, right, climb up and down ladders, and jump. On each level the player has 800 time units to gather all six items and return to their spaceship The game is divided into four screens, the first with aliens that the player must jump over, the next has moving platforms, the third has conveyor belts and moving dangers, and the final screen has doors that open and close. The player starts with five lives, and gains a life every 2,000 points. If the player clears all four screens, they restart on a higher difficulty level.
