Lunar Lander

Lunar Lander is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

The player takes control of a landing module that tries to touch down on a red landing site on the uneven lunar terrain. The vertical and horizontal speed of the module must be less than 10 m/s, and land at an angle of less that 6 degrees. As the player approaches the ground the screen zooms in, and the player has limited fuel to make a safe descent.

The player controls the engines and rate of spin of the module, and can modify engine output +20%, +10%, +1%, -1%, -10%, or hover. Rate of spin can be modified left or right by 1 or 5 degrees. There are four levels of difficulty, with the highest level having meteorites to avoid.
