Starforce Lander

Starforce Lander is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

The player controls a space landing craft that can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise, and can apply thrust to move in the direction it is facing. Gravity continuously pulls the craft downwards. The player has limited fuel to make a successful landing on the landing pad on the screen, and must avoid dangers including asteroids and moving alien vessels. Horizontal and vertical velocity are displayed at the bottom of the screen. There are six different landing scenarios to challenge.
