Flint's Gold
Description
Flint's Gold is a text adventure for the BBC Micro.
Having spent many years laboring on their farm, the player character grows bored of their mundane existence. Being young and foolish, they set off for the nearby port in search of adventure. It is here that they make their way to The Black Lagoon, and meet two old pirates spinning yarns of Captain Flint and his legendary buried treasure. They whisper about a brigand called Long John Silver and a lost treasure map. Inspired by this tale, the player rushes out in search of a ship to carry them on adventure.
During the adventure, the player meets several pirates, and must find their way to the island where Flint's treasure is buried.
All commands are via VERB NOUN entry, and there is a save/restore feature.
