Megabonk

Description
Megabonk is a 3D roguelike survival auto-shooter and horde survival game. It tasks players with surviving against waves of enemies across procedurally generated maps, collecting loot, upgrading weapons, and leveling up through repeated runs.
Gameplay is structured around short, self-contained survival sessions. The player character automatically attacks nearby enemies, while movement and positioning are controlled manually. Each defeated enemy drops experience orbs, which increase the player’s level and trigger upgrade choices. These upgrades, randomly drawn from a pool of varying rarity, offer new weapons, tomes, or passive bonuses, ensuring that each run presents different combinations and synergies.
Combat takes place across stages filled with hordes of goblins, skeletons, and larger monsters, occasionally culminating in boss encounters. Players must balance survival and aggression to collect resources efficiently, as death resets progress for the run. Between runs, persistent progression systems allow for the unlocking of new characters, weapons, and items.
The game includes over 240 in-game quests, 20 playable characters with unique abilities, and more than 70 items that can be combined to create distinct builds. Each character features a different play style, ranging from melee fighters to ranged specialists or characters with area-of-effect auras.
