Description
Microzine is an educational disk-based magazine published by Scholastic between 1983 and 1992. Each issue generally contains a simple adventure game, often with a Choose Your Own Adventure Style. Issue no. 28 contains:* Picture This: the player must identify all the animals that are not native to Africa.

Quest for the Pole: a Choose Your Own Adventure style game where the player tries to be the first child to reach the North Pole. They must travel from Gjoa Haven on King William Island to the North Pole. The player travels by boat with their Inuit companion Inuk, and along the way they learn about the lost Franklin expedition, survival in the high Arctic, and the animals and interesting geographic features of the north. After leaving Alert, the game changes to an arcade sequence, where the player rides a dogsled and avoids holes in the ice, with the goal to reach the North Pole.
