Misohagi Fumikiri de Matteru (lit. "Waiting at the Misohagi Level Crossing") is a suspense adventure game.
The player plays the part of Akasaki Hotaru, a 1st grade university student who comes back to his hometown during the summer vacation after many years. On the first day of arrival, he meets his childhood friend Amano Saya, along with her elder sister Amano Mizuho, at the Amano's house. However, while attending a party in the evening, he hears a shocking truth: all of the Amanos, including Saya, Mizuho and their parents, were found dead 3 years ago. Although the police have already closed the case as a mass suicide, Hotaru decides to investigate what exactly happened to the Amano family, and why he can still talk with the sisters despite the fact that they have already died for 3 years.
