Pellic Quest

Pellic Quest is a computer (Apple II)-moderated play-by-mail game. Players send in their commands for each turn by post and a single computer prints out the results which are sent back to all the players. Turns generally last two weeks, during which players have time to send their moves. The game is based on Starweb and officially authorized.

The game is played with 10 to 15 players. Players vie for control of the universe and collect artifacts of an ancient race, the Pellics. Players can play different character roles (emperor, crusader, brigand, droyds, traders, zente) which each had their own changes in gameplay.
