Space Jailer
Description
Space Jailer is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.
The nine Argon kings of the Argon Empire have been imprisoned in space jail. As jailer, the player controls a ship at the bottom of the the screen that moves laterally and fires vertically. Argons come from both sides of the screen trying to free their king by removing blocks from the prison.
If the Argons reach an imprisoned king and bring them to the side of the screen they are freed. The player tries to shoot the Argons to prevent them from doing this. The Argons and their spaceships return fire, and the player loses a life if hit.
A level is completed if all Argons are destroyed. The player loses a life if hit, and if all kings on a level are freed or a total of nine kings are freed over several levels, then it's game over.
