StarChild

StarChild is a shareware Robotron clone. The player's character starts off randomly positioned in the game area along with humans and numerous baddies and they must find a way to rescue all the humans that are on the screen. Some baddies just attack the player while others will attack the humans the player is supposed to rescue. Some levels have fixed and mobile mirrors that reflect the player's laser and other kinds of trickery.

There are eleven levels to the full registered version of the game each comprising a number of waves of enemies and representing ascending nodes on the tree of life. The objective is to complete all levels, battling through the entities sent by 'the Great Sorcery' until finally achieving immortality. The game is controlled either by the keyboard, joystick, or the mouse, has sound, power-ups, configurable controls and a level editor. The two player game is a co-operative match.
