Starship Commander

Starship Commander is a 1-player space-themed strategy game for the Apple II.

The player controls the USS Ranger in turn-based space combat against 1 - 3 enemy Vegan vessels. All gameplay is via Apple paddles from menu commands. The player controls movement of the vessel in 2-dimensional space, and must control direction and acceleration of the ship. The player controls the communication, defense, engineering, life support, navigation, science, and weapons stations of the their vessel. The player's crew has a total of 120 crew members, who must be assigned to different stations. The player can attempt to bluff or threaten enemy vessels, and must carefully control the different stations, the number of crew devoted to each area to keep their ship in fighting condition.
