The Laser Way

The Laser Way is a puzzle-platformer focused on creative problem-solving through hand-drawn construction. Players guide a small robot named Will, who awakens without memory in a hazardous laboratory filled with traps, energy fields, and automated defenses. Each level presents an enclosed space containing environmental tools, obstacles, and dangers, with the goal of reaching the exit.

The core mechanic revolves around drawing shapes directly into the environment. These drawn forms take on physical behavior based on the material selected, enabling the creation of platforms, barriers, ramps, or improvised machinery. Progression introduces new ink types with distinct properties, such as floating, fading over time, responding to gravity differently, or interacting with level elements in specialized ways. As challenges become more complex, the game shifts from simple navigation to multi-step logic problems requiring experimentation and refined shaping.

Environmental elements such as moving mechanisms, turrets, unstable zones, and timed hazards alter strategy and encourage varied approaches rather than single-solution puzzles.
