Thunderball

Description
Thunderball is a 2-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.
Game play is divided into three components. The purpose of the first two sections is to obtain ammunition pods which carry through to section three.
In the first section, players try to demolish two sections of wall by bouncing a ball into it. Each player controls a paddle that moves laterally. The paddles are located at the top and bottom of the screen while the wall is located in the center. Once the walls are demolished, the ball bounces vertically until in contacts one of the three acorns that move laterally at the center of the wall.
In the second section, the bat becomes a horizontally-moving laser base which fires towards the center of the screen. The outer wall now moves in the opposite direction of the central conveyor. The goal is to clear a path to the central ammo conveyor where ammo pods can be claimed by the player. Then all pods are claimed from the conveyor belt both players enter section three.
In section three each player starts off with a bouncing ball in the center of their own cyclotron. The goal is to entirely fill the player's fuel tanks, or completely deplete their opponent's tank. In the cyclotron the player can transfer fuel and ammo from the secondary to the primary tanks. Fuel can be gained by firing at the target located on the piston. Ammo is credited to the secondary tank by colliding with the player's own ammo pods. Ammo can be used to blast the other player and deplete their fuel stocks.
