Plutonium Plunder
Description
Plutonium Plunder is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.
The goal on each level is to push the three cannisters of plutonium behind the opening and closing safety barrier at the top center of the screen before time expires. The player can move in the cardinal directions and shoot directly forwards a short distance.
The player can also break hexoid pods, or push them towards enemies. If enemies are shot they are temporarily stunned. The player is chased by gnomes, who crush hexoid pods. They can be destroyed by hitting them with pods or pushing plutonium over them. Nuclids are large radioactive balls that chase the player through walls. They can not be defeated, only stunned.
The levels are surrounded by electrified walls, bringing instant death if touched. If a hexoid pod hits a wall, it bounces back and kills the player. The player starts with three lives.
