Treasure Trap

Treasure Trap is a 1-player arcade game for the TI-99/4A.

The far reaches of the solar system have been colonized in the distant past by an ancient race of Builders from Psi Capricorni. The race has since died out, but their network of artificial planetoids remain. The player's job is to explore these mysterious planetoids and escape with the treasure inside.

The player moves between a number of fixed rooms with exits. The player has limited oxygen, and must find respirators to replenish their oxygen supply. XY detectors display the player's coordinates. The player can pick up disks, which can be taken to a room with a supercomputer to get hints on the treasure location. One room will contain a berserk robot, which can only be defeated if the player finds a blaster. Other rooms contain friendly robots which give hints to the treasure location.
