Water Torture

Water Torture is a 1-player side-view arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

The player travels through the jungle and burial ground in search of an underground spring. The player can move left, right, and jump.

Gameplay consists of several parts. In the jungle, the player must try to avoid scorpions which rapidly approach from both sides of the screen. After surviving this, the player must fall down a hole to enter the jungle burial ground. Here, the player must avoid ghosts and touching the temple walls, to finally reach the underground spring.

The game tracks how long it takes to reach the spring, and touching any enemy causes the game to restart.
