Battlezone Six

Battlezone Six is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro and Electron.

The mission is to explore the zones and planets of the Zorab Galaxy, in an attempt to free them from alien aggression. At the same time, the player is attacked by enemy Star Fighters which must be destroyed.

The player controls a round vessel at the center of the screen that moves in eight directions, and can fire in the direction it is moving. On each level, the goal is to survive until the timer reaches zero. The player receives points for enemy dangers that are destroyed, but these constantly multiply as each level progresses. The player has a temporary shield which can protect them from alien attack. The player starts with five lives.
