Microzine Jr. #7

Description
Microzine Jr. is an educational disk-based magazine for students under age 10 published by Scholastic starting in 1988. Each issue generally contains a simple adventure game, often with a Choose Your Own Adventure Style. Issues also contain software to initialize a data disk, as well as letters to the editor. Issue no. 7 contains:* Fill-in fun: Create a unique story by filling words into short sentences.
- Rock around the Block: Rotate 4-sided blocks in a 5 x 5 grid so that all pictures are the same, or that all blocks show a single picture. There are 3 difficulty levels.
- Shape Machine: The player feeds their starting shapes into shape changing machines for new shapes. Each machine has specific input and output, and the object is to correctly fill the goal machine. There are 3 difficulty levels.
- Walkabout: .An adventure game, where the player goes on a Walkabout in Australia with the rest of their class. The safari leader Evonne can transform students into animals. The player can choose to be a dingo, platypus, kangaroo, emu, koala, or eagle. The player works through small vignettes as a member of one of these animals with a series of multiple choice stories. Evonne rewards the player if they perform the correct actions throughout the vignette.
