Microzine Jr. #9

Description
Microzine Jr. is an educational disk-based magazine for students under age 10 published by Scholastic starting in 1988. Each issue generally contains a simple adventure game, often with a Choose Your Own Adventure Style. Issues also contain software to initialize a data disk, as well as letters to the editor. Issue no. 9 contains:* Eye Spy: Look at a picture of the classroom and find the 10 things that don't belong.
- Information, please: Our Fifty States: A database of America's 50 states, that can be searched by region, population, size, natural and man-made wonders. The player must answer questions as they go on summer vacation with Vera Wrongway's family to help guide them to the correct vacation spot.
- Super Sundae Machine: String together a series of pipes to connect a funnel to an ice-cream machine. The player must use all pipes, and all pieces must fit together properly.
- The Search for the Sunken Treasure: A side-scrolling adventure game, where the player dives aboard Bluebeard's haunted ship the Santa Clausa in search of treasure. The player explores the numerous rooms of the house, and can walk, jump, and climb up and down stairs. The player can take and use items, with the goal of helping the ghosts that placating the various ghosts which haunt the ship.
