Description
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai: Minagoroshi-hen is the seventh release in the Higurashi: When They Cry visual novel series. It includes parts 5, 6, and 7 of the novel: "Meakashi-hen", "Tsumihoroboshi-hen" and "Minagoroshi-hen".
It is a simple visual novel without branching paths or choices, where the player simply advances the text to read the story. After finishing each chapter, the player unlocks a number of optional bonus scenes called "TIPS".
The story of "Minagoroshi-hen" once again takes place in the village of Hinamizawa, plagued by dark secrets, tragedies, and deaths. This chapter reveals the strange secret of one of Keiichi Maebara's closest friends, and eventually explains most of the mysteries from the previous six episodes.
