Let It Die: Inferno

Description
Let It Die: Inferno is a roguelike action game and tactical extraction title set within the Hell Gate, a massive subterranean chasm filled with hostile creatures, treacherous environments, and competing Raiders. Players take on the role of an immortal Raider who repeatedly descends into randomized levels to gather SPLithium, fight enemies, and locate escape pods before time runs out. Each run is self-contained, with death resulting in the loss of carried equipment and the temporary body used for the expedition.
The Hell Gate is divided into zones and biomes featuring shifting layouts, environmental hazards, and escalating enemy types. Progress requires defeating tethered enemies that block access to deeper areas, while escape pods appear only after run objectives have been completed. Raiders can equip weapons in both hands, mix melee and ranged items, and perform guard-breaking maneuvers that set up powerful finishing attacks. Weapons and armor include randomized traits, encouraging scavenging and experimentation.
Between expeditions, players operate out of Iron Perch, a floating sky base that serves as a hub for storage, crafting, character management, and interaction with supporting NPCs such as fellow Raiders, administrators, and association staff. Permanent upgrades are earned through mastery abilities tied to the Raider’s spine, allowing gradual progression even after failed runs. Additional character classes and body types offer differing abilities, starting equipment, and traits.
The game incorporates PvEvP systems in which enemy creatures, corporate enforcers, and rival Raiders all pose constant threats. Competitive players can participate in the Death Jamboree, a dedicated mode that emphasizes direct confrontations. The world periodically undergoes a full reincarnation cycle, resetting level layouts, available enemies, and obtainable equipment while preserving certain cosmetic and account-based unlocks. This structure is designed to support repeated long-term play across multiple seasons.
